Mascot as Companions
I divided Mascots to three kinds: recommended as companions, not recommended, merits and demerits. However, I have to mention that it depends on my own opinion.

There are two marks in the chart: Healing and Distance Spells.
"Distance" means that those spells can be used from the distance (not necessary to bind to monsters). When a monster is spelled a distance spell, it attacks the quester who is bound to them.

Distance spells are two types, attacking and supporting; the former is like Izu イズ (lightning), Hodon ホドン (flame) and the latter is like Noro ノロ (Slow), Chako チャコ (Silence), Chip チップ (Raise intelligence). Some Mascots repeat the distance-supporting spells with no reason. Such actions disturb your actions in battles. However, when companions use the distance-attacking spells like Izuna イズナ (lightning) or Honodon ホノドン (flame), they are helpful in battles. The problem is that we cannot control their actions.

Mascots like Robot and Clon have neither of healing or distance spells. Personally, I think they are easy to use as companions because they always attack monsters and never act unexpectedly.
